Hi guys, basically I got an unfair dismissal case filed with JPP (Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan). JPP called up a physical meeting between me and former employer. Didn't achieve any reconciliation, and former employer was told to gather more evidence to say that my termination is lawful. After a week, my former employer did not respond. So JPP officer asked if I still want to pursue the case. I said yes.
It has been close to 3 months since then, and I haven't heard anything from the JPP officer. I've both emailed (no reply), and called the office a few times (someone else said the officer is occupied and can't answer).
My question is, is this normal? And if it's not, how do I escalate this so to at least get an update on the status of the case?
