Hi, so im looking to move to another state (Oklahoma) in the next year or so. But im discovering that moving out of state is incredibly complicated. The big thing im finding is that most landlords want proof of job history. But im stuck in a loop; I can't find a job if I dont know where I'll live, and I cant pick a house till I know theres local jobs. So im wondering, I've saved a good amount of money already. If i found a house/area I like but dont have a job already lined up, could I offer to pay the first 3-4+ months rent early? That way, they get their money in confidence, and I have plenty of time to find a local job.
Im new to the world of renting so im wanting to learn how it works. Thanks for any insight.
