Was wondering if any of the fine folks from here have had a chance to upgrade the bike from the title to a Shimano 105 R7000 groupset with mechanical brakes? I asked both Claude and ChatGPT and they claim it's doable as the Claris groupset shares a lot of stuff with 105.
What they suggested is:
Buying the whole groupset (shifters, front derailleur, crankset, rear derailleur, cassette, chain) as well as a 105-compatible BB. They claim I don't need to change anything else (like rear hub etc), but I was wondering if they're missing something and thought I could check this here.
