Dungeon Draft versions of previous map post

My earlier post seemed to have garnered some interest, https://www.reddit.com/r/osr/comments/1talf4j/3d_dungeon_design/

so I think I'll add the Dungeon Draft versions of the hand drawn maps I made for The Tomb of the Dragon Lord.

Feel free to make use of them as you see fit (for home use, of course, not commercial). Perhaps I will get my act together and get all the notes for this wicked place into a publishable format, but I'm sure that day is far... I think it a good thing in the meantime that the community benefits from the maps themselves in the meantime.

Enjoy.

EDIT: the images are in order from Level 0 (The Temple above the tomb), Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4. You should be able to match them up without too much trouble with the older post which also has the isometric central shaft for reference.

3D Dungeon Design

Another poster asked about 3D dungeon design. I was having trouble uploading graphics to the post, so it was easier just to make a new post.

This is The Tomb of the Dragon Lord, from a home brew campaign: deep in the underworld, the tomb of a dragon, built by dwarves who were forced to labour on it (and then were buried in there for their troubles), complete with a demon to guard the dragon's bones.

I recommend downloading some isometric paper, and doing a general layout to get your head around the design first, and then just map out the levels using basic graph paper.

I understand that the original poster was asking for tools for this sort of thing, but this is my process... ye olde pencil and paper.

Graphic 1: This is the isometric layout of the central shaft detailing 4 levels (the two graphics stack on one another). A waterfall falls from Level 0 above, all the way to level 4, powering a waterwheel for arcane experiments, etc.

Graphic 2: Level 0: the central spiral staircase leads down to Level 1; the whirlpool empties into the central waterfall.

Graphic 3: Level 1: there is a magical air elevator on the left of the map; the central shaft (has a floating boat, because of course); and there is another shaft to the right. All allow access to different levels.

Graphic 4: Level 2: the arcane workshop of a lich which has done a deal with the devil on level 4.

Graphic 5: Level 3: the lair of the lich; quarters for denizens of the underworld who are visiting on diplomatic missions to the lich; the actual tomb of the dragon (to the far right); bottom left has a teleportation device to get to the central island on level 4.

Graphic 6: Level 4: the domain of the devil who has been tasked with guarding the tomb (she is very bored); a big lake fed by the waterfall, covered in fog, with gelatinous cubes in it (pool cleaners); and a few other bits. The central island is surrounded by a wall of force which extends all the way up to the floating boat on level 1; the doors can only be used to exit.
