Working with this.......

Has anyone asked their doctor for a note to be excused from work for awhile? I have a job in a library where I take about 200 books out of a bin, check them in, then put them on a counter. After that I load them on a cart and then take them to shelves and again pick them all up to put them away. Along with this I am handed the same amount of books which I scan and hand back each day. Sounds like it's a lightweight job but I have come to realize that doing this five days a week may be aggravating the heck out of my newly diagnosed condition. I went to doc in January, told it was a pulled muscle but did have chest x-ray and complete heart work up (I have heart condition). All was clear. Then went back to doctor a few weeks ago and saw my regular primary because nothing changed and she immedialty called this Costochondritis. She gave me an anti-immflammatory but I am starting to think my job is aggravating this daily and I was going to ask for a note to take a break for a few weeks. Anyone else ?

Fox has mange and is in my yard because I have been leaving out food. Wildlife Rehabber said easiest way is to get a Bravecto tablet for a 10 pound dog and do a once and done treatement. The only way is through a prescription. Any thoughts on asking a vet to do this for me or is that not alright.
