I got this guy about a month ago and he seems to be doing pretty well. He has a ton of shell growth but I’m concerned if the clearish part is a sign of something bad or if it just takes a while for the new shell growth to thicken up. I’ve included two pictures of him going to town on a calcium chip and a shrimp algae wafer. All of the parameters are within range and his pH is 7.2.
