If participating in the current trade in promos and using the Apple Store app carrier offers instead of going through T-Mobile directly, does the new promo iPhone still come unlocked like it used to? Also is there a way to bypass the automatic eSIM activation out of the box if I wanted to use it on a different line?

I know there weee recent promotion changes on trade in promos.

I know you can no longer pay off eip early and continue to get promotions and free lines no longer get free phones with eip promos. But Can lines still have multiple promos? Or if I take a new promo does it end the existing?
