Company IG was permanently disabled.
So I handle the marketing for the company that I work at and we’ve had the account for a little bit over a year. We would post about two to three times a week. (It was also linked to a FB page and the page is still up) But about 2 weeks ago, all of a sudden when I logged in on IG, it said the account was temporarily disabled and I can appeal it. So I did face verification and then I uploaded my ID. Within like 20-30 minutes I was given an email saying my account was permanently disabled. I wasn’t even given a proper reason as to why aside from “went against community guidelines,” even though I do everything in my power to ensure that I’m not going against guidelines etc. I’ve sent a few emails to the one email address I was able to find. I’ve searched their entire search page and even used their chat bot to try to a) speak to an actual human b) get the actual help I need, but I have not been successful. If anyone has gone through similar and have been able to recover your account, please let me know what you did to help with that. And thank you in advance!
