Got my account back with government help! You can too!

Hey, I got my account back after a month of mental tort*re with the help of the government (india). I'm helping anyone who is serious, if you are just a casual user don't try it's not worth the hassle. But if you're someone whose account contains years of memories or the account in question is your income source then I invite you to try because it's the single most effective way to get your account back! And if you carry just one thing from this post - PLEASE DON'T PAY ANY MONEY TO ANYONE! No matter how legit they seem or screenshots they show you don't pay to anyone. It's just a shame people are exploiting emotional individuals'feelings to farm money. Just pathetic! Also don't even pay to meta verified (if your friends have it or you can get a free trial you can try) because the success rate is almost none. Any questions are welcome or you can dm. I'd help you navigate, escalate when necessary and file specific details. No intention behind it(no need to upvote) just for the sake of help. Returning what I've received 🥂

Important Remark 1: Even tho I explicitly stated it's only for indians. People are still asking if I can file for them so let me clear once and for all — You'd need an Indian national ID with a linked phone number even if you arrange that your country's meta team won't follow any orders of the Indian government nor the Indian government would handle foreign cases. I hope I make it make sense. Search if your country has a similar regulatory government body which handles social media sites incompliances under your country's IT rules.

Remark two: The Whole process is completely free of cost including all levels of escalations. Just you, your device and mental energy to burn.

Instagram is banning random accounts for "Account Integrity" and literally no one knows what the fuck that means.

Anyone else getting absolutely wrecked by Instagram lately? It feels like they're on a banning spree with zero explanation. You wake up, turn on your phone, and boom "Your account has been disabled for violating our Community Guidelines" and basically some bullshit about "account integrity."

What the actual hell is "account integrity"? It's their new favorite cop out phrase. It's so vague it could mean anything: you posted too fast, liked too many posts, followed too many people, looked at your ex's page too much, or just existed while using the app. Meta doesn't tell you shit. No specific post, no date, no evidence. Just "trust us bro, your vibes are off, we are banning you and if you create a new account we will ban it too."

It's the digital equivalent of the police kicking in your door, slapping handcuffs on you, and when you ask "What am I being charged with?" they just smirk and say, "We suspect you of something. That's all you need to know. Enjoy the squad car."

How are you supposed to appeal or fix it when they won't even tell you what you supposedly did wrong? The appeal process is literally them adding your information to a Palantir database. Why am i sending my ID and a selfie to a company like META that is known for selling abd stealing data? Meanwhile, actual spam bots, scammers, and verified blue-check models posting soft corn run wild doing actual harmful shit.

Instagram's whole platform is a joke. Why build a following, post consistently, or invest any time when some intern or broken AI can nuke your account with no recourse?

Fuck Meta. Rant over.

what should i do???

i woke up to find this i uploaded an id photo but still can't get it back how do i get it back please help

u/iiab22 — 9 hours ago

I'm done with Insta. They disabled my account.

Excuse me for English, am from serbia and I don't have right now patience to word it perfectly.
I used my last try to upload my ID, and I'm finally permabanned for integrity/fake account. At least I didn't weited 180 days for them to decide. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is the text I sent to some of their mails people
posted for us here.
I'm pissed of right now and what I sent is kind of vent. Is not for recovery, lol.

I know they wont read, I know they don't care, but I decided not to care either. They became too unreliable and what they are doing to people is outrageous.
Sure, there are scammers and all kind of crazy people on their app, but they ban too many innocent people for all kind of f. up shit.

I'm sad I can't use it anymore, but their AI moderation is broken. The greatest irony in all this? Their AI BOTS accuse many of us to be fake and bots. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I wish I can offer some help, but can't. Wish all of you to get your accounts back tho. I'm done. Stay well.

------------------------

"Dear" Meta "Support"

Your technology disabled my account wrongfully and by mistake.
Your technology absolutely do not use "same" rules for all the users, because countless of innocent people are getting wrongfully accused and disabled for the last 2 years,  and that practice still continues.

Everyone is aware of that, while the real scammers, bots use your platform with no problem.

Your own platform allow its users to have multiple accounts, then they are accused by your so called technology of being "fake" and "unauthentic". So make up your mind: Are users allowed to have multiple accounts or not. Do not accuse them of the very same thing that your platform offer them in the first place.

I absolutely did not create fake account. I used my account for art, staying in touch with the people I know or likeminded people. I mean, your own platform promote "Instagram brings you closer to the people and things you love".

I'm disabled wrongfully because I used your platform to do exactly that: To get closer to the people and posted the things that I like. I used my real photos as well, so there is nothing fake about that.

I do not ask you for any fruther review, because you will not be missed by many in the way you hoped so. Many people thankfully are moving from your app to other apps and alternatives where their technology is not wrongfully accusing them of having fake accounts or whatever your fault technology decide on its own.

permanently disabled account – what CAN i do?

hi, i know this is probably a really stupid question to ask but would there be aaaaany possible way to get my account back at this point???

so around early monday morning (AEST), i opened instagram to check my messages as i usually would & was hit with a suspension notice telling me that my account had been suspended for "account integrity" & that i had to appeal within 180 days or else i'd permanently lose access to the account!!!!! i obviously understand with all the new AI/moderation stuff being added that mistakes are 100% going to happen + i genuinely have no idea what i could've done wrong anyways😭😭💔 i have had this account to myself for years now. the only possible reasons i can think of is either mass-unfollowing old friends or having a celebrity as my profile pic for a while lol

i had tried appealing several times using both the video selfie & ID scan option which apparently still didnt prove to meta that i AM a real person as the account was eventually disabled

anyways i'm honestly just really frustrated as its my main way of communicating with friends & family, especially as an older teen & because i have YEARS worth of stored content on there like story archives, conversations, memories etc that i really really don't want to lose forever

i've also noticed (after looking through this subreddit for quite some time) that there seems to be a massive suspension/ban wave recently so i would like to assume i'm not the only person this is happening to right now lololollll

if anyones been through something similar & managed to get their account back one way or another, please let me know asap!! i have absolutely no idea what to do anymore

thx in advance 🙃

Woke up this morning.. My account is just gone.

This is a serious situation isn't it? I've been searching the web every other person either on X Or here are just complaining about the same thing.. That their account got disabled for no reason at all.

Meta strike is real fs. Its AI is banning accounts recklessly.

Please if you guys come across anything that may help me to get my disabled account back.. Please help.

Instagram is Dead

Instagram account deactivated

Everyone needs to report @zuck and @mosseri because their corrupt and mafia-like employees are activating Instagram accounts through the Media Partner Panel to make money and are involved with foreigners. We need to report this, they are activating any account in an hour for thousands of dollars! I found out and I have the sources.
Meta Business Partner

Let's make sure this content reaches more people and exposes these gangs.

Ever since this man became the head of Instagram, Instagram is not the same anymore! And i love how everyone’s bashing him in the comments section! Please don’t stop

It’s high time for him to fix this! Why should we let a company take over our businesses, personal profiles and ban it without any valid reason?! Why is the news channels not covering this issue? Why are we still suffering from this? This has been going on for long but people are not voicing out this issue until it happens to them smh🙂‍↕️

Got my permanently disabled Instagram account back after 36 days. Here's what happened and how I got it back step-by-step without Legal Shield or an attorney

April 13th I woke to an email stating "Take action or lose access to your account"

https://preview.redd.it/zg9aeygita2h1.png?width=1470&format=png&auto=webp&s=9ba2f9f5294a4b377fefd32abda2c1e9c42d1558

FYI I have multiple IG profiles under 1 main account, this particular account is used by me updating friends and family on my daughter. When I received this email I also logged into IG and noticed all my accounts were logged out and blocked. As a reference my main account I use to promote my business and use for brand deals was verified with 35k followers. (verified means zero) All the others with were simply back up and random. Not super actively being used.

I clicked the link in the email and it brought me to a screen to verify my identity. I did that and immediately received this

https://preview.redd.it/xy89uebrua2h1.png?width=1634&format=png&auto=webp&s=8856f606a8428f9ce6713c0373154eea70051d94

I felt relief! I logged into IG and began to see my accounts populate. But my main account, the one I was most concerned about did not. I received this message.

https://preview.redd.it/zmakvsi5wa2h1.png?width=1440&format=png&auto=webp&s=4edcd65022e1e121e9cfbb90d0dd5f72aa478981

I was confused because I was never given an opportunity to request a decision to begin with on this profile. The way this message read was as if I've attempted to appeal something. I searched everywhere to try to contact Meta. We all know this is virtually impossible.

Another point-I had a business facebook account that was attached to my IG account which surprisingly wasn't deactivated. This account has around 10k followers ( I mention this because many people say if the accounts were connected they too were disabled)

I purchased verified for my FB account in order to talk with someone. I explained my situation via chat. Here was the first conversation excuse the typos-

https://preview.redd.it/pt8957pbza2h1.png?width=806&format=png&auto=webp&s=fc8c364ba7d26ea812cddceddafd63dc35d071a2

at this moment I felt this was being taken seriously and I wasn't being dismissed. We spoke, I explained the situation and wanted to know what community standard I violated. He wasn't able to tell me. I was then told this will be escalated.

https://preview.redd.it/rz4yxkko2b2h1.png?width=436&format=png&auto=webp&s=af67476a5c1ceec12e8a77029cf1671575c9cfe6

After about 2 hours, I received this message.

https://preview.redd.it/cfj6uq4o0b2h1.png?width=590&format=png&auto=webp&s=373167fb8f85fcbedb1aac6471d8b93c4fc50218

I'm scratching my head because this makes no sense.

FYI all this was done April 13th. The day of the disable.

I waited 2/3 days and nothing happened, no change and no opportunity to appeal.

I reached out to Meta again. Here was that conversation.

https://preview.redd.it/u2zl5ths1b2h1.png?width=722&format=png&auto=webp&s=a38550e70b1fc99313d5456004abe589ec3163ba

Now I'm really annoyed and feeling they want to take the call offline to prevent a paper trail. That's just my thought.

https://preview.redd.it/4y79apsu3b2h1.png?width=476&format=png&auto=webp&s=252daf63d030cf76665d6948df5a2705a81f37ff

https://preview.redd.it/hfkxjhnj4b2h1.png?width=450&format=png&auto=webp&s=a7554621754a83948769684ba53d60a306c1c37d

https://preview.redd.it/33wtio2y5b2h1.png?width=424&format=png&auto=webp&s=c90b1355e50387e735d1eed93d36a02856f09136

needless to say I was pissed and realized Meta has no interest in resolving these issues.

My next step was to contact my state Attorney General (Maryland)which I did, and this was the response.

https://preview.redd.it/brxv8z227b2h1.png?width=1900&format=png&auto=webp&s=a89304560c1604c05366cc5bfb04c64e62073afd

I did this but wasn't too optimistic. This was done 3 days after the disablement.

I then waited until April 20th 7 days after the disablement and filed a small claims.

The CSC agent assigned to Maryland is 5 minutes from the court house and the court house is less than 10 minutes from my house, So I had time :)

I filed the claim stating all my facts. Cost in Maryland is $44.00 (the court house will assist with what forms you need). I suggest you type out the details of the case at home so you can provide a detail account of the case and not leave anything out. You can then attach your print-out to the claim. Keep in mind, if you are filing a small claims case you do not need an attorney. Remember, small claims is designed to only recover funds and not property ie: IG page. What the claim does, is force Meta to have a real person look at your case. In my claim I also stated I am losing money due to brand deals. I explained I never received an opportunity to appeal, I was able to recover other accounts under my profile etc. I also stated I am willing to dismiss the case If my account is recovered. (Make sure you focus on the money portion and what you are losing due to this issue even though the ultimate goal is to recover your page the max claim in Maryland is 5k) When you file you will be given the option to have the writ of summons served on Meta at the closest CSC office-https://www.cscglobal.com/service/entity-solutions/registered-agent-services/service-of-process/sop-locations/ by a sheriff (the cost is around $125) your own professional process server (price varies) or you can have a friend do it as long as the friend isn't associated with the lawsuit and they are over 18. I recommend having a friend do it. Serving a business like Meta is much easier than serving an individual or a small business. Meta is not going to try to avoid the service. Once you file, you will then receive the writ of summons to your home address (this time frame varies. I received mine 4/26 which was 6 days after I filed) Not sure about other states but mine also came with a trial date of July 1.

https://preview.redd.it/ndvtg526gb2h1.png?width=1072&format=png&auto=webp&s=ecb1a4069ff1f7e742bfbc13a982d8c02c3e3973

You want to serve META as soon as possible. I had them served May 1. Once they are served, you have to submit the service to the court house. Providing them with details such as the person you served, what they looked like, their name, what time you served them etc. (The person we served would not provide her name), which was fine, we just made note of her appearance and approx age.

Meta then has 15 days (in Maryland) to provide to the court their intention to defend. They waited until the 15th day and submitted their intention.

https://preview.redd.it/itur77cheb2h1.png?width=1820&format=png&auto=webp&s=97b99e219667543bf0be46bab0ad0c6f5865e4b3

I woke up on 5/19, 4 days after they filed their intention to my IG account fully restored. I never received an email or any notification. Just a restored account.

Now I have to dismiss the case and I'm only out $44. I will say this, I plan to wait until a couple days prior to the scheduled court date to dismiss the case in the event something happens to my account. After everything I've seen many people have said they lost their account again after a couple weeks. Fingers crossed.

I hope this helps.

Instagram desabilotaded

Hello my friend, I’m from Brazil and my case is quite unusual.
I had a personal Instagram account with 100 followers and another one for my brand with 30k. On April 12th, which was my birthday, my personal account was permanently disabled. On the same day, I created a new personal account, and they asked for verification documents (they had also asked for documents on the disabled account, which I submitted, but they rejected them).
However, the new account I created is still active today — they accepted the documents for that one. But my brand account was also taken down, and I lost all my work from 8 years. My brand basically died.
I created another brand account, grew it to 3k followers, and it got taken down after 15 days. So why didn’t my new personal account get banned as well? It’s a strange situation.
Has anyone ever gone through something like this? I even paid Meta, and it didn’t solve anything.

UPDATE ON CASE

Hello I did post about me suing Meta and taking small claims route for $10,000 (done Tv shows and had a lot of things going on) I’m from Bronx so things work a lot slower here my case is in DECEMBER! . Just got this mail right now from the docket team. I’m seeking rather the $10,000 or my account back. And I’m not worried about any counter sue or so cause I have everything needed. But let’s just hope it works out I provided the information . If my account does come back then every should do the small claims route but just make sure it’s worth it as if you have something to fight for.
