I’m 17 and trying to start my own lawn mowing business. I already have a decent mower (John Deere 530x) with only 300 miles on it, a weedwacker, and leaf blower.
Next week I’m planning to go door to door around my neighborhood to try to pitch myself in an attempt to gain clients. I live in a decently wealthy neighborhood where the average property size is around an acre. I was thinking of charging a flat fee and then an added on rate per acre.
Is 15$+50$/acre too expensive when starting out? This will include a full lawn mow, weedwacking, and edging. Full job for an acre with everything might take me around an hour to an hour and a half
