2005 Toyota Matrix Seeking Mechanical Advice

Hi everyone. I was headed back from a day trip to Oklahoma city and ran into some automotive issues. The vehicle is a 2005 Toyota Matrix with 298k miles. I started noticing a rough idle after filling up just minutes before. Although we had the occasional rough idle during the cooler weather with this being summer it was noted. Got back on the road drove a few miles and noticed if i pushed the accelerator id hear a ticking noise. I quickly pulled off to the side of the road as i heard it and noticed a lack of acceleration. Shut the car off and noticed smoke coming out the passenger side of the hood.

Opened the hood and noticed the coolant was completely gone. Do keep in mind it was full even to the reservoir fill line earlier that day when we had headed to okc. Coolant was quite a bit of places under the hood from spraying. We had the vehicle towed home and the tow truck driver thought he would see if it would start to simply back it into the driveway and it would not.

I checked the dipstick and it looks as attached . Im not a mechanic by trade but this vehicle sure has been good to us and hoping she might have a little left in her. But if its time to let her go id understand. With the mileage id say its performed well. Unfortunately we recently for new tires on her and i had tuned up the A/C before summer had hit and she was running well.

There are some known error codes we have had for awhile but some are certainly new from the coolant leak. I am hoping this might help give a better snapshot for you.

Codes that have appeared before

P0171

P0741

New Codes at Incident

P0117

P0441

P0455

P0456

If more diagnostic information is needed i can do my best to get what is needed.

Had a new installation done today. The installers were young but from a known reputable company here in NE Oklahoma. In all honesty does this appear to be good work or cobbled up job? As the homeowner i appreciate the hard work that was put into it yet question some things.
