Am i cooked? (Transfer)

I originally applied to SDSU, and was denied admission in mid march. I immediately filed an appeal right after my denied admission (local transfer, with special circumstances) but after some back and fourth with someone at the admissions office, i was basically told It’s unlikely i’ll be admitted.

on my application I was scheduled to take 19 units because i was trying to get to 60 during the spring semester so i was able to transfer. Since i was under the impression i wasn’t going to be admitted, I DROPPED a 1 Unit late start class that began on 4/27 and changed plans to take it during the summer when I had more time. So now at the end of spring I’m supposed to finish with 59 units.

fast forward to my surprise (May 7th) I got an email saying i was ADMITTED, and that my appeal was actually APPROVED.

I’m currently enrolled in the 4 week class during the summer that will finish July 11th giving me all the credits I need. For what it’s worth this class i’m taking is not a major requirement or Golden Four class, it’s just an elective to hit the credit mark. I’m emailing the admissions office tomorrow to see if they’ll make an exception but honestly i feel like im cooked. has anyone had a situation similar to this?
