Ok but what is an email quality score actually scoring?

I have tested a few "quality" checks and half of them appear to be spam checkers wearing a blazer. Green means no obvious deliverability issue. Cool. That is not the same as the email being good.
If you were designing an email quality score from scratch, what belongs in it before send? Subject line, mobile, CTA, copy strength, engagement likelihood? What is actually measurable versus vibes with a progress bar?
Would love to hear from people who have built QA processes, not just used a score once.
