It is a GDA 40-year-old flats /residential building. The upper floor family want to install a lift in a common area which is pretty small, which is in the middle of the building stairs and in front of my home entrance, i.e. we won't be able to open our main gate properly, which also blocks air and sunlight without any permission from fire safety, electricity, earthquake safety. Practically illegal ? Is there anything we can do to stop his construction?
