If the ground is too hot for your hand, imagine their paws

Everyone’s posting about power cuts because the heat is unbearable right now.

Yesterday evening, I saw this stray dog lying in dirty drain water on the roadside.
Not because it wanted to.
Probably because the pavement was too hot to sit on.

We complain when the fan stops for 10 minutes.
These animals survive 45°C heat with no shelter, no clean water, and no way to ask for help.

That image genuinely stayed with me.

This summer, please keep a bowl of water outside your house, shop, or street if you can.
It takes almost nothing from us, but for them it can literally mean survival.

Sometimes compassion is not some grand gesture.
Sometimes it’s just remembering that they’re trying to survive the same heatwave too. 🐾

Phone Stealing Gang at Shaheed Sthal Metro Station

TLDR: Friend's phone got stolen at Shaheed Sthal metro, no FIR lodged. Stay safe out there, specially at this metro station. Don't trust the authorities.

My friend's phone got stolen today at the Shaheed Sthal Metro station in the morning (8:15 a.m) while boarding. (The station master told him that 4-5 phones are being stolen there everyday btw)

He went to lodge an FIR at his nearest police station, they told him to go to some other police station. (I won't be naming any of those for obvious reasons) He went to the said police station, and guess what- to no one's surprise, they refused to lodge an FIR.

They said that the best they can do is lodge a Lost Phone complaint, but they won't lodge a Stolen Phone FIR. They gave BS reasons like "We have to verify that the phone was stolen and it would take a lot of time" and told him that if he wants to get his phone traced asap then the best option would be to file a Lost phone complaint. My friend obviously agreed.

About 30 minutes later, he was able to track his phone by himself using Google Find My Device. the last location of the phone where it was switched off was the Mohan Nagar Metro station at around 10 am.

Now this is where it gets interesting. At around 3:30 pm, his phone was turned on again. He rushed to the police station telling them that he got the current location the exact coordinates. But, they refused to do anything again. they simply said that they would use their own tracking systems to track the device, and theyll be doing this at night. They said that they cant follow any random tracking systems. (They literally said "Bhaiya tum log hi saara kaam khudse krloge phone track bhi krloge sab kuch krloge to ham kya krenge tumhe sab kuch jaldi niptana hai")

And then they wonder why people are moving out of the country

“Moved 360 KM Away for a Third-Tier BCA College… Now I Regret Everything.”

So Hae ! I basically belongs to Uttarakhand but coz of some reasons i got late in admission process of college...nd i didn't get admission in near colleges nd my parents didn't want me to get into pg so i moved to my nani's place which is 360 km away nd got admission in third tier college for bca then managed there 1 year...i hate living with my relatives tbh...nd that clg is also not that worth it...ain't learning anything there...no good staff , no serious crowd , nd 0 placement coz we r third batch for bca...the good thing is attendance is not a compulsion...the final verdict is i am thinking to just keep uni same nd change my clg...so i think ims can be the fit...I'll need to do so much paperwork for noc to get into second year currently i have 3 options ~

  1. move to ims nd travel 30-40 km daily 2 times ( pg isn't allowed )

  2. be in my current college ( nawh ! I won't...i will just give exams )

3)stay at home take online courses nd learn

Nd then i can take admission in any college for mca

But the things ain't sure if ims is worth it or not coz fee will increase nd I'll travel 5x the usual
