I just sent out my passport renewal DS-82 form yesterday because my name changed due to marriage (in 2023. Just didn’t update the passport until now) and we are traveling next month.
When I got my original passport, also in 2023, they gave me two copies of my photo. My appearance hasn’t changed at all. Same hair color, same hair style, no noticeable face changes, etc….So without reading the instructions about it needing to be within 6 months, I just attached the old photo, not thinking anything of it.
Do you think my renewal will get denied since it’s the same photo I used on my current passport? Has anyone ever done this before? I’m hoping they won’t really look into it too much and not notice that it’s the exact same photo 😅
