This example showcases everything collectors look for in a late matte dial Submariner. The Mk4 “Maxi” dial is defined by its larger luminous plots, giving the watch a bolder, more modern presence while still retaining the charm of the matte era. The tritium lume has aged beautifully, developing an “eggshell” patina that pairs perfectly with the original handset.

The 5513 represents one of the purest expressions of the Submariner, just function and form in perfect balance. An excellent opportunity to acquire a clean, honest Maxi dial Submariner from the early 1980s
