Does this qualify for worker's comp?

I was recently on the job and dislocated my knee. Thankfully, it popped back into place immediately and there was only slight pain. Initially, I thought I'd just rest and go to the doctor later, but I have travel next week so I decided to get it assessed quickly. I tried going to urgent care and a clinic but when I said yes to their question of if it was work-related, they told me they couldn't treat me. As a side note, what the hell??? How is that legal??? I just wanted to see if there was any damage that required treatment....

I ended up going to the ER so I could get a quick assessment before work travel the following week. At the ER, I was advised to file a worker's comp claim to cover ER costs. It didn't really occur to me to do that. I thought worker's comp was for time off, but I put down my employer's info.

My question is, even though I don't have a severe injury, should I file a worker's comp claim to cover the cost of the ER visit? I'm afraid I'll have to pay over $500 for this if I go through my insurance.
