Hi, I have really warm feet, and during hike on winter, specially with snow season, I get my feet really wet (because of my own sweat), and by consequence they get freezing cold after.

I am considering buying a more breathable shoes (still waterproof), but want to know if there is a specific type of socks I should use, or if I should always pack a extra socks.
