I got this plant almost 3 weeks back, the top got broken in transit so it lost the fresh beautiful leaves on the top

I have been watering it once in 2-3 days, but nothing helps

I've tried keeping it in indirect sunlight, in a normal well ventilated room, in an ac room but nothing helps

I don't know what to do.

Update: I have repotted the plant in a smaller pot with drainage holes, her roots are white so I'm assuming they are healthy, there were no brown roots but the soil was very hardened. I have changed the soil as well

I've kept the soil damp and placed inlt in front of the brightest window of my house. It's not in the ac room, it's small bright warm room.

Now I'm just praying for results
