I have an wild olive cookie that I want to cut in half horizontaly for a project.
The project is making the the cookie into a shelf for a bathroom basin to sit on.
The cookie will be cut to have 2 straight sides so it can be book matched and sit flush against the wall.
The problem I've got is that once I've got cut these sides off, it's too big to go through my bandsaw still. The max it can take is 13 inches and the minimum the cookie shall be is 17.5 inches.
I did consider making it smaller to fit though it but then it would be similar to the original size, and I wanted it larger so it could be wider.
So I have considered cutting it by hand which I will most likely will not be as accurate with and it'll be time consuming, but I'm more than willing to do.
Anyone got any better ideas?
