(Car is Corolla Touring Spots 2025 2.0l hybrid in Europe)

So I bought a second set of wheels for my summer tires/tyres. Since they are aftermarket, they come without TPMS sensors, naturally.

I saw that the car has a self learning procedure and was pretty impressed that you can do that without a specialist tool. So I was thinking that I can just buy some sensors and give them to the tire repair shop so they can mount them when I put the summer tires on. EASY....right?....right?

I looked up on the internet and got some PMV-C210 from a listing that said it's for Corolla E210 and though nothing of it. They arrived, tire shop mounted them. I went and activated the new set identification and drove a fair amount of time. All that after I carefully read the user manual instructions a few times. Obviously it didn't work, because this is turned out I have bought the wrong sensors. OR at least if there were other reasons, I did not know them.

So then I looked up and I found some PMV-C215 Sensors, but apparently they don't cover the whole production cycle for E210, so I kept looking. Now I bought some programmable Sensors and a handy little programmer tool that allows me to program it to whatever I need them to be. Great right? Yeah, until I go to the utility and I see that there are 5 different options there....

One is 2019 to 2025, other is 2023 to 2025, third is 2019 to 2024.....

How do I figure out what's correct and what's not?

I can't just replace them and try with the next one. Going to a tire shop for a sensor replacement is like 75-90 Euro where I am. They have to remove the wheels, strip the tires from them, replace the sensors, then put the tires back on the wheels, then balance them and get them on the car again. Tire shop asked me for 200 Eur for 4 sensors and programing +75 more for the swap. This is a highway robbery, considering they won't even put OEM sensors. I refuse to give it to them, even it if costs me more to figure it out myself.
