Hi :) So I‘ve got this loft space which mainly serves as my home office and I’m struggling with making this a cohesive space.

I‘m not really sure what to do with most of the room. I feel like it‘s just kind boring and not very cozy even though I think it could be. My living room is downstairs so I don‘t really need seating, but I thought some kind of seating may still be nice in this room, maybe to read a book once in a while or just to switch up while working.
Due to the sloped ceilings an armchair etc shouldn’t be too high though. At the moment my idea would be to place an armchair in the middle of the room more or less and position it towards the dormer window. I‘ve also got a small chrome side table by Vitra that I could use. I also don’t really need the two white lowboards and I would part ways with them, as I feel that they might be too white for the space.

I‘ve also thought about some kind of room divider to separate the desk, so that it‘s not always visible when entering the space but didn‘t really find anything and think it could potentially block the light coming in from the window next to the desk.

Would love some suggestions or alternative ideas.

I‘m renting so ideally would like to avoid permanent changes.
