Handshake AI manually approved my appeal, let me work for 5 days, then banned me saying "sorry for leaving your account active." LoL 😂
A few days ago, my Handshake AI account was flagged. I submitted complete proof of my engineering credentials, and a Trust & Safety specialist manually reviewed everything. She sent me a written confirmation stating my documents were approved, my access was reinstated, and I could continue using my account without interruption.
I logged back in, completed tasks on Project Dy***mo, and worked normally for five days. Out of nowhere, my account was hit with a permanent discontinuation notice. When I reached out referencing the manual approval I had just received, the exact same specialist replied that the ban was final and literally apologized "for the inconvenience caused by your account remaining active for 5 days after the review."
They are paying out my pending balance so no platform rules were violated, but having Trust & Safety manually clear your profile only to terminate it five days later and call your approved access an internal oversight is completely wild. Be careful relying on this platform.
