I’m looking to meet chill locals and discover cool places in Toronto.
Good morning, Toronto.
This is my third time visiting this city, and I’m finally running out of things to do from the classic tourist checklist. Honestly, that’s a good thing. It means I finally get to dive into the hidden gems list instead. Today, I’m heading to a spring festival at Neil McLean Park, an Asian night market at STACKT, an immersive exhibition about bees, and probably a few more random adventures along the way.
I’ll be here for a week, and I still plan to wander the city solo for the most part. But after watching The Obsession last night and heading back to a lonely hotel room, I realized I should probably be a little more open to company too. I found this subreddit last night and decided to shoot my shot this morning. So… here I am.
If you’re a longtime resident and a true connoisseur of Toronto, and if you’re bored enough to hang out with a tourist, feel free to DM me. I’d love to discover more hidden gems around the city, meet new people, exchange stories, and navigate our collective midlife crises nonchalantly (jk).
I’m 29M, a professional yapper, and I’d love to meet people along the journey, even if it’s just for a cup of coffee.
