Looking sad

My other 7 trees look great this one does not my guess is maybe the random crabgrass is starving it, it's been watered during the summer but it could also be it's just not happy in that spot

I'm in East Houston, black clay soil.

Understory/canopy planting how close is too close?

My other pawpaws are under the canopy of an oak and pecan but I'd say around 12 ft from the main trees trunk

Pictured here is a hackberry and redbud that grew together. They have a wide spread but due to walkways I might have to put my newest trees kinda close to the trunk.

I guess my main concern here is hurting root development for either trees.

Hi, one of my favorite nurseries from Texas has grafted trees for sale

Potomac, Allegheny, Benson, Atwood

I bought all 4 varieties, it's often tough to find named cultivars here in Houston and I wanted to get some since my last post but was having trouble finding any so after it rains it'll be planting time for me just in time for me to turn 33 next week 😓.

I just had a contractor build a new door and frame last year, I went outside today and found this. Im down to trying a dyi solution, I travel for my job and I'm worried I'll be away one day for these guys to destroy everything
