So I first heard about the breed out the ugly challenge a while back. But I couldn't bring myself to purposely make an ugly sim. Then finally I made 2 and made them fall in love with each other and now they have my heart.... George and Fiona with their kiddos- Clementine, Tallulah, and Raylan....
They aren't ugly, just not typical ❤️
This is the largest one I've worked on...
22" x 28" (56cm X 71cm) it's already been over 32 hours on it, probably closer to 40 hours. Each rectangle takes me 2 to 3 hours depending on colors.
So I have 6 main families that I started with (that was my first mistake). Then, I filled up the households with children (this was my second mistake).
I do rotational play ... Basically playing a household until I reach a milestone for them, and switch to a new household.
Now my issue is-- gen 2 is growing up and having families, but still have younger siblings. And I'm trying to keep track of the ages of all the gen 2 kids and the gen 3 kids. Then adding to my chaos, I made a tactical error and put on neighborhood stories and allowed babies, and the GEN 1 HOUSES started having babies again because there was room and they are elders yet. 🤦🏻♀️

How do you keep up with ages, or do you just play ?!
