I’ll start. My kiddo is 16 months old. When I hand him his milk bottle, rather than simply putting it aside or politely giving it back to me once’s he’s finished (as he occasionally does), he just puts it right upside down and either smash it into the ground or squeeze the straw, so the milk goes everywhere. If I’m busy he’ll look into my direction as he does this with a cheeky smile, and occasionally even laugh after I’ve taken it away.

I get it, for them it’s like ‘I get a reaction from you so I’ll keep doing this’ but even just trying to ignore it they’ll just keep doing it anyways. What a paradox!

Anyways, that’s my experience with my son messing with my head by creating milk puddles everywhere. What’s yours?
