An older more mature brother to the original (Dumont Nitro Red Intensely)
I owned the original Nitro Red when it was initially hyped around 2024, and now, two years later, I own the updated version of it. From the first spray, it immediately reminded me of the original, with some differences.
If my memory serves me right, the watermelon note of the Intensely is different from the original. It is definitely less synthetic and candy-like than before, and it has also become denser and more ambery. Basically, Nitro Red was more of a watery-sweet fragrance, while the Intensely is a more syrupy-sweet fragrance for summer.
Other than the scent profile, the performance has changed a bit too. It is still just as long-lasting as it was before, if not more, but the sillage has been reduced (in a good way). Before, with just 5 sprays, it would project way too loudly for my liking, but now I usually spray 4 sprays on my shoulders and get a solid performance of 6 hours with medium projection. If you like sweeter fragrances for summer, I do recommend this and the original, depending on whether you prefer a denser or lighter fragrance.
