How bad is this?
So I built my son a PC using parts I had lying around.
Specs:
- Ryzen 3 3200G (taken from an old Optiplex)
- GTX 1080 Ti
- 16GB DDR4-3600 RAM
I figured the CPU would be enough to run less demanding games at 60 FPS or higher, and it does. However, everything seems to have a slight lag or stutter, even while games are running between 80–110 FPS. Even navigating Windows or browsing Google feels a bit slow nothing really feels snappy. While setting it up, I found myself accidentally opening a second window because I thought my first click hadn't registered.
Is there anything I should check or change to fix this, or is the Ryzen 3 really that bad? I was thinking about buying a 3rd gen Ryzen 5.
