Yesterday was a huge day:

✅ GPS lock achieved INDOORS (MicoAir M10 is a
beast - 22 sats inside)

✅ Compass fully working (QMC5883P fix)

✅ WiFi dashboard polished (°F/°C toggle, ft/m
toggle, calibration button)

✅ Mobula 8 FC connected and backed up

✅ MSP protocol library written and integrated
into firmware

✅ Firmware sending MSP packets, ready for
physical FC connection

⏳Current status: MSP code is live and sending - just needs the physical UART wires soldered between the nav module and the Mobula 8's FC. That's the next hands-on step for me. Than we can test Position Hold, RTH and a simple Waypoint Mission for starters.

Your Drone Parts List:

• Frame: FlyFishRC Volador VX3.5 O4 Freestyle Frame Kit (Yellow)

• Flight Controller + ESC: MicoAir743V2 AIO (45A 4-in-1 metal-encapsulated ESC, STM32H743, dual IMU, barometer, 2-6S)

• Motors: T-Motor F2004 KV3000 brushless (x4)

• Props: Gemfan Hurricane 3525 3-blade gray (6 pairs, 3-hole, perfect for 1806-2004 motors)

• FPV System: Walksnail Avatar HD Mini 1S Kit (digital HD camera + VTX) {Upgrading to moonlight 4k soon)

• Antenna: Lumenier Micro AXII 2 5.8GHz U.FL LHCP

• GPS: MicoAir MG-A01 M10 GPS module with QMC5883L compass

• Battery: Ovonic 6S 850mAh 150C LiPo (XT60 connector)

• Capacitor: Probably 35v or 50v

This build feels insane for a 3.5” freestyle quad. You’re looking at a mf beast 45A AIO and torquey 2004 KV3000 motors into a tiny Volador frame(Ordered a Deadcat frame but the X-Frame came instead), feeding it a 6S 120C pack for stupid amounts of punch and speed, then topping it with Walksnail digital HD(Upgrading to 4K soon), full GPS/compass, and premium props/antenna. It’s basically a mini cinematic/freestyle monster that’ll rip aggressive lines, hold position like a bigger rig, and look crystal clear doing it. Total overkill in the best way possible🫡!!! This thing is going to be an absolute weapon; thoughts on how to top this thing out?!
