How to actually get rid of back hair?

How to actually get rid of back hair?

I'm a 25F who's honestly tired of living with back hair.

Worse is I'm pale asf and the hair is basically black 💀

During summer I shave it out of desperation but it grows back with vengeance (aka prickly) and fast and it gives me acne.

This is not the best photo since it's recently shaven, so not much growth, but I hope it still paints the picture.

I just went for my first laser session and talked with two techs over doing my back and they both said:

"It's hormonal, best thing you can do is leave it alone. No waxing, no shaving, no creams, no epilating, no lightnening since it might look weirdly bleached. No IPL or laser since the hair might grow back differentely or worse. You should just lie under the sun and let it lighten naturally."

I'm on the floor crying and I hope you can hear me sobbing. I'M PALE WITH DARK HAIR IT DOES NOT LIGHTEN IN THE SUN RACHEL 😭

I literally thought laser would be the solution to it all, and there's no way I'll do electrosis on my 5353827282x back hairs. Not in this economy.

So now I'm just defeated and feeling like I'll just have to embrace it. (Which is not going to happen)

So, has any girl actually lasered their middle to upper back and seen improvement? The laser they use is the Alexandrite / ND Yag.

Or if you don't and deal with it using other methods, what do you do? Has anyone tried Veet hair removal cream, for example?

For now I'll continue to shave and deal with acne and a prickly back or try a cream 😔
