Movies that heavily reference other movies, total pastiche

By reference I don't mean Deadpool style pop culture references in dialogue. More like Kill Bill, which you could probably reconstruct from thirty other films shot for shot.

Iphigenia (1977)

Ace Greek drama set right before the Trojan war. King Agamemnon has a fleet of 1000 ships ready to head for Troy, but the winds won't blow so they are stuck on shore and can't sail. To fix an affront to the gods and assure the winds finally start blowing, Agamemnon is required to make the ultimate sacrifice - kill his daughter Iphigenia. He sends for her under the pretext that she is to be married to Achilles, and wrestles with the unthinkable act. It's very well written and acted.

John Le Carre-esque spy movies

I'm looking for spy movies that favor clandestine operations and general spy craft over action. Any country, any year. Actually, older movies will probably be better. Some movies I liked:

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

Black Bag

Funeral in Berlin

The Spy Gone North

(No need to recommend other John Le Carre works.)

Once Upon a Time in China (1991)

An epic action adventure comedy set in 18th century China with insane production values, crazy wire stunts and inventive martial arts choreography, starring Jet Li.
