Most brands don’t have a traffic problem. They have a trust problem.

I keep noticing that a lot of companies immediately blame “low reach” or “the algorithm” when sales drop, but then you look at the actual customer experience and the problem becomes obvious.

Their ads look polished, but:

  • the landing page feels generic
  • testimonials look fake
  • the copy sounds AI-generated
  • social media comments are ignored
  • the brand personality changes every month
  • everything feels optimized for clicks instead of trust

People today are exposed to thousands of ads constantly. Most consumers can sense when a brand is trying too hard to “convert” them instead of genuinely communicating value.

I think modern digital marketing is shifting from attention economics toward trust economics.

Curious if others here are seeing the same thing with clients or campaigns.
