Right Out of the Box

These definitely aren't a subtle pair of Dunks 😂. The yellow color is loud, but that's obviously part of what makes the Grateful Dead SBs so good.

The fur was the first thing I checked when I opened the box. It has a decent length and texture to it, and the yellow looked pretty close to the reference photos I had been comparing against. The orange accents and blue details also give the shoe a lot of character without everything looking completely mismatched.

The shape looked good to me as well. The toe doesn't look overly bulky, and the shoe has that chunky SB Dunk appearance I was hoping for.

Materials & Construction

I was honestly more impressed with these once I started looking at them closely. The fuzzy panels have a nice texture and don't feel completely flat, while the leather sections feel reasonably substantial.

Stitching was clean on my pair, and I didn't come across any major glue marks or loose threads. The sole is firmly attached and the overall shoe feels pretty sturdy in hand.

The tongue is nicely padded too, which is something I appreciate on SB Dunks since they can feel pretty bulky around the ankle.

I'm not going to pretend I can authenticate these down to every tiny detail, but compared with retail photos and references, the overall presentation looks really good to me.

The fur, color combination, and general shape are the things that stand out most when they're on foot, and those areas are all pretty convincing.

Wearing Them

These aren't exactly lightweight, but that's expected with an SB Dunk and especially with all the materials used on this colorway.

Once they're on foot, though, they're pretty comfortable. The padded tongue and collar help a lot, and the fit feels secure without squeezing my feet.

I wouldn't call them my most comfortable sneaker ever, but I've worn them for a few hours at a time without any problems.

Comfort: 8.5/10

I'm pretty happy with how these turned out. The Opti Yellow colorway is definitely one of those shoes that gets attention, and the OG batch does a good job with the details that matter most to me.

The fuzzy upper has a nice texture, the colors look good in person, and the overall shape feels right. They're not a pair I'd wear every single day, but when I want something that stands out, these are an easy choice.

Definitely glad I went with these instead of another basic Dunk.

This haul has a good variety of pieces without feeling repetitive. The pink Acne Studios hoodie is the standout item, while the graphic T-shirts add some colour and detail to the haul.

The different shorts are also a strong part of the pickup—from the Hellstar pair and navy mesh shorts to the Rhude shorts and washed denim cross-patch pair. Each has a different style, so there are plenty of options for casual summer fits.

The BAPE × Inter Miami tee is another standout with its full camo design and pink branding. The Birkenstock clogs, cap, socks, and cardholder finish the haul nicely with some useful everyday accessories.

Overall, a clean and varied haul with some strong statement pieces mixed with easy everyday items.

Another great summer staple. Lightweight, comfortable, and the colour works well with pretty much everything.

Exactly what I was looking for going into the warmer months. The Ralph Lauren linen pieces, Spiridons, and Off-White Out of Office sneakers were probably the standouts for me. Wearable, comfortable, and easy to incorporate into everyday outfits. W haul.

Finally got everything in hand. Pretty happy with how most of these turned out.

The RL jacket, Stüssy hoodie, Gallery Dept. tee and Moncler polo are probably my favourites. The Hell Star set and Palace x EVISU piece are a bit more eye-catching, while the rest are easy everyday pieces.

The accessories were a nice addition too, especially the Prada sunglasses.

Overall, a pretty solid selection with nothing that really disappointed me. 👍

Cactus Jack x Fox Racing Tee
Really unique piece with a strong motocross-inspired look. The V-neck, grey and black color combination, and oversized Fox graphic make the tee stand out a lot. It has a very recognizable Y2K streetwear aesthetic.

Supreme Champions Jersey
One of the strongest pieces from the haul. The embroidery, red details and large Supreme branding give the jersey a very premium look. The different patches also add a lot of detail without making the design feel overloaded.

Black #24 Jersey
A very clean jersey with a nice sporty look. The mesh fabric and oversized number give it a classic football-inspired aesthetic, while the all-black color keeps it easy to wear. Simple design, but it still has a lot of presence.

Supreme MM6 Money Tee
A really creative piece from the Supreme x MM6 collaboration. The money graphic around the collar immediately makes the tee recognizable and gives it a very different look. The black base also keeps the piece wearable despite the bold design.

Supreme MM6 Zip Hoodie
Very clean and versatile hoodie. The black Box Logo keeps the design subtle, while the distressed details give it more personality. The zip-up construction also makes it a great piece for layering and everyday outfits.

GV RHSU Hoodie
Really nice college-inspired hoodie. The grey base works perfectly with the navy RHSU Hornets graphic, giving it a classic varsity aesthetic. The oversized lettering and relaxed shape make it very easy to style.

THE GV LEMON DROP SWEATS
Definitely one of the most eye-catching pieces from the haul. The bright yellow color and wide-leg fit give the pants a lot of personality, while the visible stitching adds some extra detail. A great statement piece for streetwear outfits.

VALLEY STANLEY TEE BLACK
One of my favorite tees from the group. The washed black finish gives it a really nice vintage look, while the large graphic works perfectly with the oversized fit. The distressed details also give the piece much more character.

Yure Selvedge Denim
A really clean pair of jeans with a great wide-leg silhouette. The dark indigo denim and contrast stitching give them a premium and slightly vintage look. Very versatile and easy to combine with oversized tees, hoodies or jerseys.

Got this haul in recently and overall I’m happy with it. Most pieces fit well and the quality is solid for what I paid.

First Impressions

The KAWS 4 has been a grail of mine for awhile, so I finally decided to grab the GX batch. Right out of the box, they felt premium. The packaging was solid, and the charcoal suede immediately stood out. The embossed hand graphics are subtle but easy to see when the light hits them, which is exactly how I wanted them to look.

One thing I was really looking forward to was the glow-in-the-dark outsole, and it definitely didn't disappoint. After sitting under a light for a bit, the glow is surprisingly bright and adds a really cool touch without taking away from the clean look of the shoe during the day.

Build Quality

The GX batch feels very well put together. The suede is soft with a nice amount of movement, and all of the stitching looked clean around the toe box, wings, heel, and midsole. I didn't notice any loose threads or messy glue, which is always something I check first.

The shoe has a nice weight to it, and everything feels sturdy in hand. Nothing about it feels cheap.

I haven't had an authentic pair in hand, but after spending way too much time comparing retail photos before ordering, I think GX nailed the overall look. The proportions, suede texture, and embossed details all look really solid. The glowing outsole is another highlight, it charges quickly and glows brighter than I expected.

Comfort

Jordan 4s are never the softest sneaker, but these are comfortable enough for everyday wear. Since I have wider feet, I decided to go one full size up, and that ended up being the right move. The extra room made them much more comfortable without feeling sloppy on foot.

After wearing them for several hours, I didn't have any major pressure points or heel slip.

Comfort: 8.5/10

Overall: 9.5/10

I'm really happy with this pair. The GX batch exceeded my expectations, especially when it comes to the suede quality and the glow-in-the-dark soles. It's one of those sneakers where the little details really make the difference, and this pair gets most of them right.
