I am in zone 6b. I planted this one myself and few years ago. This past winter was its 3rd. I’ve had no trouble with it in the past. We had a rough spring. Lots of rain, late frost.

It has not gotten its leaves yet. It appears that it has some buds. I did notice the green trunk and split.

Thoughts?! What can I do to save it, if anything?
