Carat Bazaar Jewelry in India is a scam
Look at the picture I have uploaded - does this look like 18k white gold??! Worst experience - NOT a trustworthy brand. Paid nearly 30k for moissanite in white gold setting. Specified in the order AND via a order follow up call that the setting should be white gold - order arrives (order was not even shipped in the 5 day delivery window they had claimed) - in YELLOW GOLD. I complain and they tell me to take to local jeweler and simply have it covered in a white setting. I refuse and finally I have to ship it back to them myself, wait another ten plus days and finally get the earrings back. I take them to two different jewelers here in Candolim, both say the same thing: it appears as though very little white gold was used in the setting and the earrings were finished poorly using cheaper white metals. Can you imagine? To hear this after all this hassle and spending nearly 30k for moissanite! Do NOT trust this brand - I should have never ordered jewelry from Carat Bazaar. Pretty sure most of the positive reviews are fake.
UPDATE: Owner called, promised reverse pick-up and a full refund. Been months and they stopped responding to my messages. Does this sound like a company you can trust to buy jewelry??
