Cheap silver jewelry

Anybody have recommendations on brands or stores for affordable silver jewelry? I went to a Jared’s and found a nice one for $100 but feel like I got lucky.

I was gifted a “gold” chain from Jaxxon a while back that was durable and lasted a while until it tarnished from daily wear. Have considered just buying another silver cuban from them but the reviews make me hesitant. I wanna get something affordable that gives me my moneys worth, not a $5 piece of metal for $120.

quatre

saw enough posts about quatre bands splitting to do my research and find a different seller. glad i did, layers are tight, no movement, feels solid.

got both colorways. rose/yellow for daily wear, black/white gold when the fit calls for something harder.

Let me see your Pochy Jewelry Cuban or hear your experience.

I am in South Florida and yearning for a handmade Cuban, I know Garcias is widely regarded as the best and I plan to visit both in person pretty soon. But the difference in price, and wait time really has me leaning toward trying out Pochy. The purchase will mostly be a gift from my wife, and she is really not up for waiting months.
Also, their pricing allows me to get into a thicker or higher karat chain than Garcias does.
If I go with Pochy I can get a 22inch 6mm 14k or 7mm 10k, but Garcias 6mm 14k is around 1400$ more than theirs.

Late birthday gift for him finally arrived 💛

Late birthday gift for him 😅🎂 Better late than never I guess. Got him this ring and he absolutely loved it. The yellow center stone with the iced setting hits different in sunlight.

Got it from Shree Gems & Jewel and they did a great job with it. Definitely happy with how it turned out.

Fear of Jewelry Getting Snatched

Do you wear your pieces out? I love my jewelry especially diamond pieces, but I’m worried I would be a walking target.

I’ve only worn my chains and rings out if I’m going to nice places, but the other days I keep them tucked.

accidentally broke my boyfriend’s chain and i’m hoping to replace it but i need help identifying it :(

i accidentally broke my boyfriend’s chain and i feel terrible about it. i’m hoping to replace it, but i honestly have no idea what kind of chain it is. i think it might be a rope chain, but i don’t know the length, thickness, or really anything about jewelry.

i just graduated nursing school, so once i pass my boards, money shouldn’t be an issue. i just want to make this right because i feel awful, even though he’d never expect me to replace it.

does anyone have tips on how to identify the chain style/size or find a good replacement? this is the only picture i have where you can kind of see it, if that even helps. any advice is appreciated 😔

Stripped gold plating from Miami Cuban

Acquired a Miami Cuban link chain that was gold plated, looked terribly faded so I decided to try and finish the job using silver polish.. this is it so far. I know I have a “before” photo somewhere

Sweating a ton in my 14k

Hey guys I recently got a 14k gold cuban from Garcias. I never planned on removing it for anything. While working out and sweating in it i notice i get a black sweat that runs down off of it. The gold itslef if fine and just rinses off. But theres a reaction thats making the sweat black. Nonstaining but its annoying to see and walk around with. Anyone have experience with this and would upgrading to 18K stop or help this?

HRC vs Jacoje

Bought my first chain tonight. 14K 2.5mm, 22” Franco (Plain). After much debate over HRC vs Jacoje, particularly in this sub, and amongst others, I finally pulled the trigger with HRC.

Hoping it was the right choice. I can’t wait to get it!

garcia’s 6mm 22” 18k cuban

finally got my garcia’s chain a couple days ago and i absolutely love it. no complaints whatsoever with the chain (everybody already knows about the wait time with gjm). the only thing that kind of bummed me out was that the chain ends up weighing in at 68.3 grams as opposed to the 70 grams i was expecting from the website but it’s made very clear on the final weight disclosure that it can vary by 3 grams because they’re handmade. so it sucks but its understandably not their fault. besides that the chain is perfect and their customer service was on point too always very nice and responsive throughout the entire process

Jewelry insurance companies

I’ve been thinking if I should insure my jewelry. I have a few chains, bracelets and rings I would like to protect.

Between Jewelers Mutual and BriteCo. which one do you recommend? Any pros and cons? Or any other suggestions?
