Hey guys, when ever I make a post the first question that is asked is how much is labor.

After doing a lot of research and making connections locally I was able to find a freelance wholesaler that sells his chains to a lot of shops that claim it as their own.

Labor as follows per gram

10k $4 or 6.6%
14k $5 or 5.9%
18k $7 or 6.5%

I was at Macy’s some time ago and saw this chain. I didn’t write down the size, thickness or link type. Would anyone here know? I liked that it looked like flat surfaces. I’m guessing its because the links are tight together.

So I have two pendants I am having trouble deciding which one I should wear daily on my 18k rope chain.

First one is a 1/4 oz 1909 US $5 coin with a diamond and 14k bezel.

The second one is just a 1/2 oz 1909 $10 with a thin 14k bezel.

I will be wearing my 21k chain and pamp pendant as well.

Which pendant goes better with the stack?

I'm very new to any kind of jewelry. My girlfriend and I were killing some time at the mall and she really liked a chain on me. We both agreed silver is my color. Got a couple 316 Cubans to see how they felt and I love them. I'm not a flashy guy and think either 4mm or 5mm is what i want for daily wear. 100% want a box Clasp.

I'm 6'3 and think 24" is the right size for me but tell me if I'm wrong.

My 5mm steel chain feels like a little much for me tbh. I love the feeling of the weight but I find myself taking it off a lot to sleep. I also think its a little much for me to be wearing at my job. At work I plan to keep it under my shirt but they do pop out from time to time and the 5mm looks extremely out of place due o my line of work.

My husband’s 40th is coming up and he doesn’t want a big celebration, so I want to get him something meaningful instead.

My mom recently gave me a gold Figaro chain bracelet made from my grandfather’s necklace, which he wore his entire life. I wear it daily. After seeing it, my husband mentioned he’d love a similar necklace but thinks gold is too expensive right now.

So now I want to surprise him with one. Since he’ll wear it for the rest of his life, I want solid 14k gold, not gold-filled.

I’ve done so much research I’m just confusing myself at this point - so figured I may be able to get some legit, streamlines suggestions by posting here.

Two questions:

1. What’s a classic length/width for a men’s Figaro necklace that you would recommend?
2. Any reputable places to buy solid gold from without a crazy markup?

Hey guys just wanted to share my latest pick up 14k 10mm Miami Cuban Bracelet at 8” weighing in at 67.1g.

Anyone know where I can get a good diamond lock on it whether it be a sleek lock with diamonds or a box clasp with diamond button? Or should I not get one added in?

How many of you deal with discomfort with your 14k solid gold daily driver and just ignore it? Should I make a return or that’s normal?
