Everything good?
Got these as my first pair from Walnutritual! What do yall think? I know they’re more brothers than twins, but I really liked their shape.

The center orange bead is the one mentioned in the title, and the two flat beads around it are slightly older peach pit spacer beads each made out of the center of a half of a peach pit (making use of the ones that come out of the fruit split already) and the other two larger ones are light colored peach pits I made today and yesterday. The smallest I also made today by cutting off the material on the stem end of the pit bead on the right to avoid wasting material I’d have to grind away anyway. The darker beads started off brown, but they have deepened in color and sheen regardless. I do prefer lighter seeds, as they can get beautiful colors like the center bead, but I made that before I was aware of wenwan. Just wore it on a bracelet for a long time.
The last photos are about two weeks ago when I got them. They might be humble walnut but they’re mine. I just made a fear post so I thought I’d post an update too. Maybe I’ll do a new one tomorrow in the sunlight but here’s my camera flash for now.
Im freaking out y’all. It’s a cheap pair, but I’m so worried I’ve cracked them. It looks pretty dark and sharp but it’s so hard to tell if it’s just texture cleaned out from all the brushing.
Seems to be a small chip on one of the tips, but other than that, great for $9 a pair! (In the two sets deal on their Etsy, one for $12 and one for $6)
Zen mu trying to tell me they don’t sell carved walnuts. I am an amateur, but…. Really? I use files, and these look like file marks. Am I crazy? Particularly on the left one second photo on the ridge.
These are the photos from the listing, but the reviews show a variety of shapes and things, but these are just for me and my sister for fun, not to collect or anything.
I bought that necklace from an antique shop for $19! I thought it was a decent deal for the focal bead alone, which I wanted to add to my favorite bone bracelet since I’ve been looking for spiderweb turquoise for myself. But, when I repolished the stone, I found that the matrix is waxy and unstabilized. What do y’all think?!
The swirls made me suspicious, and I’m considering buying this piece.
