Input on earring placement - too far inward?

Got my ears pierced 3 weeks ago with a basic implant grade titanium stud (has not been downsized) and looking for feedback on the placement.

Piercer explained that the placement was because I have a natural curve for my lobe, will heal faster there, and will look more natural when I have hoops in. They also mentioned that it is anatomically correct instead of going dead center of my ear lobe.

Curious on people’s thoughts, too far in or does it look ok?

Are these piercings symmetrical?

I just got both earlobes pierced today, and I'm looking for some honest opinions.

My piercer measured everything beforehand, and I was assured the placement looked good. Looking in the mirror, I am questioning how symmetrical that seen to me, butI'm aware that as someone with OCD I'm extremely picky about symmetry

Maybe the biggest thing that's throwing me off is that one stud feels slightly closer to my head than the other, even though visually I can only suspect if there's actually a difference. I'm wondering if I'm just noticing that one of my ears is shaped differently or naturally sits at a slightly different angle, or if the piercings themselves are a little asymmetrical.

I'd really appreciate honest feedback. If they're not perfectly symmetrical, that's okay I just want to know if it's something noticeable or if I'm overanalyzing because they're brand new. I would also be interested in seeing if maybe my ears truly are shaped differently?

Thanks!

What next?

I (24M) currently just have lobes pierced, but looking to do some more. I was thinking a left ear helix (eventually putting in a hoop like I have on lobes), but now I’m realizing that my ears aren’t really symmetrical at all and my left ear (first pic) might not be the right for a helix. Is my right ear better? Or any suggestions for different piercings? I think I’m going to go for a minimalist look with the earrings. Thanks!

Currently set up

I just got my second lobe piercing a few weeks back. I thought I was done but thinking about doing the full stack this fall after all.

I finally got them!

The Twisted Link (Large 12mm - 13mm) in amber from the good folks at Glass Wear Studios. When I first saw these I immediately thought, “I gotta get these!” I hadn’t seen anything like them before and I’m all about unique. They’re not cheap so I did a search for them or something similar, but I came up empty. They’re much bigger than expected and heavy, 37g. I’m currently at 14mm so they slipped in just fine. They are most definitely statement pieces!

What’s the consensus on us bros that are pierced

6 days since my first piercing and I absolutely love it. It enhances me some how and I think men look great with it. I have zero regrets getting my ear pierced. How do you guys feel about being pierced and fellow bros with earrings. I really like seeing everyone’s photos with theirs on here 😎 everyone looks great

Beard and earring update.

Got a new hat today that seems to fit me pretty well so decided to do an update on everything. I haven’t measured but pretty sure I meet the long beard requirement.
Ok I actually just measured and it’s 5 inches so I’m good.
New piercings on right side healing well after 10 days. Still hoops in left ear. A little hard to see. Sorry.

Should I get earrings?

I put white dots on to show what it'd look like

Not trying to look gay (not homophobic, just not the vibe im going for)

Been a lurker and finally joined.

Hello everyone.

In the pix the hoop has been there for 35(?) years. At times I've it in and others not. Have had it in place in recent months. Today I took the plunge and had the stud added.

Personally I think the piercer spaced them a bit too far apart. I agreed to leave as is and think about leaving or having it redone.

Had the magnetic

I've been wearing the magnetics for a couple of days now. More like for a couple of hours every other day, but I grew to like them.

Could i pull this style?

I always wanted to wear this type or earring since i saw my long distance uncle start wearing them, my girlfriend says she is not so sure and she doesn't like it that much so what do you think honestly?

Current right ear setup

The helix and lobe healed up, so I switched to hoops and add the chains, for now. May add in the future.

Wider Gauge Studs

I wish companies made wider gauge studs for lobes.

Most studs are 16 gauge.

I currently have 4gauge clicker hoops, and I wish I could put studs in without having to gauge way down

Anyone else feel this way? Or have any suggestions?

I guess I’m just going through a piercing identity crisis
