Why are US military workout/PT clothes popular as streetwear among young people in Japan, and what do people think about it?
I've recently noticed that many young people in Japan wear US military surplus training gear (like PT shirts and shorts) as everyday fashion.
For those living in Japan or familiar with Japanese culture, what do you think about this trend? Is it just seen as cool, cheap, and durable surplus gear, or do people find it interesting/funny given the military connection? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
