Ever since a fuckin’ chicken breast’s costed 5.69€ by us, I’ve more or less been FORCED into vegetarianism. Don’ matter, though, ‘cause this entire plate is approximately ~ 314 kcal, ALTHOUGH that’s with the cottage cheese and 50% less fat Mayo on the side. The whole soy chunk portion pictured strewn across this big-ass fancy risotto plate is only 228 CALORIES. 82g of the dehydrated soy swells up INSANE amounts when cooked. I just drop it in a kettle of boiling water with a pinch o’ salt an’ tha’s it! Don’ get bettuh than this, gov’nor. Protein AND fibre for 1.99€ per bag of soy.

(According to my calculations, based on the volume and weight expansion of the soy chunks compared to previous weight while dry, the cooked soy contains like ~67 kcal per 100 GRAMS. It genuinely don’t get better than that, if that’s not awesome then I dunno what is. Chicken breast raw’s like 151, tofu also. Hell, frozen prawns and fish that are often weighed including the ice glaze that just melts while defrosting them tend to have more calories, this is genuinely the best there ever was so far.)

Pics don’t do my 301-kcal omelette justice on how HUGE it is

Seriously. This pan is the size of a fucking pizza. Not a small pizza either!

Won’t go into the details too much (as I tend to count EVERY GRAM of SEASONING), but the base is ~244g egg whites and ~146g cottage cheese. You just gotta mush the cottage cheese a bit, or just use skyr instead, I find that works even better, it’s just that the store didn’t have any.
