I (24F) Matched with a guy (26 M) on a dating app in December. He was a doctor, super intelligent, funny, charming, very effortful initially. Daily texts, good morning messages, updates from work, random banter, flirting etc. We became pretty comfortable with each other over 3, 4 months. Met a few times too, always had fun together, easy conversations, good vibe overall.
Only weird thing was he was very hot and cold. Sometimes very warm, sometimes distant. Also had this habit of casually mentioning other girls and dates which I found a little odd but ignored because technically we weren’t serious.
Anyway, before disappearing ,we were talking normally and making plans to meet yesterday, yesterday morning he said his duty got stretched (doctor life, believable), we still chatted normally for 10, 15 mins.
Then yesterday night I sent him two completely normal photos on WhatsApp (one selfie + one of my study desk). Came back an hour later and realized I was blocked everywhere 😭
No fight. No awkward conversation. No warning. Just vanished. Leave fighting, things were getting good, I thought we were getting close
The funniest part? Few months back I had blocked him once because of a disrespectful joke he made, and this man literally reached out on Telegram and PhonePe asking how could I cut him off like that because “we are friends, maybe more” and “I matter to him” and apologised. Fast forward 1.5 months later and he disappears like a ghost himself 💀
