Scripttale is the name of the au. Update!Sans is from an au where the player got so incredibly bored that they gave Sans the power to change the code at will. However he didn’t realize this and the player did a genocide run but once they made it to they started fighting Sans instead of saying “a massive anomaly in the time space continuum” it instead said “an enormous anomaly in the time space continuum”. The player ignored this and killed Sans. At least that’s what they thought because right before he turned to dust he remembered that he only ever used one eye for his magic. In an attempt to try it he activated the abilities the player gave him. While he was confused and panicking he saw code that said his hp was at 0 so he tried changing it because he had no other way to try to save himself. He managed to change it to 1. Once he did that he stopped dusting and fully healed. The player also realized that they don’t have 20 lv. Now that he wasn’t dying he calmed down and looked at even more code. He saw that there was many codes that seemed like things that would be in video games. He saw a switch that said “Memory of Resets” he flicked it on and remembered everything that has happened. This also made him realize that he is in a video game. He then decides to make the player not able to reset. He then goes and encounters them before they got rid of the world. He appeared in charas place and reminded the human about everything they’ve done. After a long talk he starts the battle with new attack patterns. He started using orange bones and karma damage and actual damage seemed to be increased but the human didn’t bother checking. The human also noticed that sans was not getting tired from all of these new attacks. He eventually managed to kill the human and player. Once he beat them he decided to revive all of his friends and his brother Papyrus. He also figured out that the player was controlling the human the whole time. He ended up reviving the human and got rid of the players control. Frisk gained their control back over their own body and thanked sans. After that he continued exploring the code until he figured out how to go to different au’s and found plenty of iconic aus. The first of these was US which he hadn’t thought about how bad it could be if he got spotted or changed anything in the timeline. Ofc he saw US sans and went to say hi. They had a nice chat but he eventually realized he might have changed the time line and had to go back in time to where he previously was before getting spotted. He didn’t realize that this still changed the timeline and led to its own new timeline. Later while exploring he met OT sans and they had a chill talk about more serious things like the resets and the other AUs. Update decided not to delete OT sans’ memory in exchange for not telling anyone else in the timeline. Due to this OT sans no longer forgot resets after learning how they work. Update left and ended up in the ULB timeline. Update realized that ULB sans’ fate was done for so he told him to at least try to be funny before you die and put it on your first breath instead of last breath. This suprisingly created a new timeline. Update left and went to EpicTale instead. Here he saw the insane fights that were happening and in order to change things he made Epic Gaster unable to reset(yes i made my guy responsible for that ). He would leave there and come back later but first he saw that he could go to a place called “The DoodleSphere” which wasn’t named like all the others so he went there. This is where he met Ink.They had a talk about the aus and how Update was a new one and also an overpowered one. He also mentioned about how Update had change the timeline of almost every place he went on accident. Error who had been listening secretly heard this and instantly came over in order to stop Update, knowing he would create more chaos then there already was. They started to fight each other and Error could do literally nothing. Update had already changed the code so that error couldn’t hurt him. Instead of leaving error with no response he made a deal with him that Update would try to be more careful when it comes to certain universes. Error didn’t have much of a choice other then to accept. After that Update left the doodlesphere in order to find someone who was similar to him aka file aware. Eventually he found file aware who was extremely similar to update but file aware couldn’t remember his brother. Both of them were suspicious of each other so they made it so they couldn’t manipulate each other and would therefore make both of them useless against each other. Update decides to make a deal with file aware and update brings back file aware’s Papyrus. In exchange Update and file aware now work as a duo and they help each other out if/when needed.

Also I tried to see if this already existed and I found one with the same name but couldn’t find out anything about it. This is my first ever sans au. Feel free to ask any questions and I will try my best to answer them. Also if you’re wondering about phase, no one has ever gotten him to second phase bc he overpowered and new but said that he would try look kinda like ulb p3

First Breath Sans is a timeline where just like ULB Sans is told about the timelines by Gaster. However instead of swearing on his last breath in order to be funny he swears on his first breath because he can’t breathe. The human meets them at judgement hall and they fight. Sans ends up showing orange gaster blasters and orange bones. Of course it isn’t enough and sans gets hit. Gaster manages to block most of the attack making the human only deal .9999999 which leaves sans at almost no hp. He gets an orange bone and a blue bone and uses them to block attacks. He starts using harder attack patterns but it still isn’t enough. However Gaster blocks the entire attack and gives a small buff to Sans. Sans teleports to the lab and finds a vial of DT. He ends up using it and teleports back to judgment hall for phase 3. Sans gains a red outline to show that this happened and his eyes are tinted red. Instead of blocking attacks or stopping them from happening he just walks to the side and stays there causing the human to miss every time with no effort. Because of Gasters buff and the DT Sans gets a new soul mode to use on the human. He turns the human into the patience soul. This cause all attacks to be seen before they happen but you move slower. Eventually near the end of the battle Gaster takes control of sans for one final attack. During this attack sans hands get holes in them showing that sans is being controlled. This attack doesn’t kill the human. Gaster leaves Sans’ body knowing that they could do more attacks at once. Sans has a lot smaller of a red outline and the red tint in his eyes starts to fade. Now you fight Sans and Gaster at the same time for phase 4. In this phase Sans has weaker attacks then the end of phase three but also have Gasters attacks happening at the same time. Sans doesn’t move in the transition from phase 3-4 so the way he avoids attacks is the same. Not much new happens in this phase but towards the end of it Sans starts melting due to the DT. In order to try and stop the human before he melts, Sans throws all of his strength into one last attack. This of course isn’t enough and the human tries to be more strategic and cuts and his legs, which fall off. Without his legs Sans can’t move and is stuck on the floor. Gaster sees this and picked him up and puts some strings on the roof to hang him around while he is still able to swing around to dodge attacks. These strings go through his body which keeps him together and not turning into white slush. Flowey, realizing something is off as he knows he should be ded by now, goes to the hall to investigate. After seeing the old royal scientist and a dying “smiling trash bag” he realizes things are getting chaotic and that something has definitely changed. He leaves to go get something that will appear in phase 6. For now Gaster gives sans enough energy to keep going. This leads into phase 5. This phases patterns are the most chaotic, random, and unpredictable. Another thing is that due to the swinging every now and again Sans will swing through the battle box as and hard to dodge attack. After a while Sans starts to collapse as the strings aren’t holding up his weight that well. Before they break Sans does an attack that he comes up with on the fly, resulting in every single final attack to be different meaning that muscle memory won’t save you. Even after that the human is still standing and strike down the strings causing sans to finally melt and nearly die. Flowey comes back with a gift: the perseverance soul. Sans knowing he will die if he doesn’t accept this peace offering absorbs the perseverance soul. He gets fully restored and is now filled with perseverance. This is how phase 6 starts Now he has a little purple book that he write things in and what he writes will appear for one turn. He also had purple glasses that showed him how the human had died every time. He also can use the same perseverance attacks used in the omega flowey fight. Gaster makes now acts as a support just helping when possible. Sans now avoids attacks by blocking it with a purple wall which appears when he writes “wall” in the book on the humans turn. He writes down all of his dead friends names to come and help him for a turn. His eye now flashes purple blue and yellow. He still mainly uses his normal magic and occasionally uses his perseverance magic. Near the end of the phase he starts use more of the new magic. For his final attack he writes his own name in the book causing there to be 2 sanses. At the end of the attack sans forgets to write down anything, letting the human get a free hit in and hurts him but he lives due to his perseverance.

This au has more phases but I don’t have time for that many phases so here are the first 6. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I also have a plan for this guy to be in a trio with another au that I make. I made this au so i could get to make basically a remixed last breath sans. Also progress is going better than ever and there could be a phase 7 soon but idk.
