Boss obsessed with AI

Need to vent but definitely open to advice, or any shared misery here.
Let me start by saying I generally do love my job- it’s a cool company, I have a great position running the marketing department, and I enjoy my time here for the most part. Recently though, my boss, who is also the owner of the company, has become absolutely addicted to AI. Every process we have needs to be automated with AI, ask AI to think for us, make the AI read our emails, make the AI do everything. It is literally all he talks about. IT ALSO DOESN’T WORK! When he tried to automate all the emails through AI it turned into a shitshow and important things were getting missed, spam emails were getting responses, etc.
He is relying on it like it’s his closest confidant that has the secrets to life, and honestly, it’s frustrating. I’m not particularly anti AI, i definitely utilize it for mundane tasks and find it helpful, but I feel like he would replace the entire leadership team with AI in a heartbeat if he could. It makes me not want to put everything I have into my work when I know he’s just going to put it through AI to pick apart, and emails I send to him now just get AI auto replies.
My final straw was last night, way after work hours, he sent a freaking AI podcast to the work chat. I couldn’t even get through a minute of it- it was the most soulless, generic bullshit i’ve ever heard.
I know i’m being sensitive and this is just the way the world is changing but holy shit! It’s discouraging, and to be completely honest, I am so tired of hearing “just ask AI”, “look what Claude did!” and it’s the most soulless piece of slop garbage ever. Like no, I am not particularly excited to help you train the AI that’s probably gonna take my job one day. Sorry! I’m tired, frustrated, burnt out, and feeling very discouraged at a job I love(d).
Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.

Apartment complex - sketchy or no?

hey everyone, myself and a friend are moving in together to save on rent. we both live alone right now and of course, both got hit with bad rent increases so decided to look for a 2b2b.

wondering if anyone has any experience with Mariners Cove apartments in Point Loma. we toured and loved the units, the grounds, amenities and the leasing agent was super friendly, but my boyfriend has some concerns about the negative reviews (it’s like 2.8/5) . i’m taking that with a grain of salt, my current complex has awful reviews but i’ve loved it and haven’t had any issues.

we’re mostly just worried about safety, we like to walk around a lot and are both younger women.

if anyone has any experiences with them i’d love to hear! or if you have any good complex recommendations. thanks guys!
