So, I just have a quick question someone might be able to definitively answer. Some people are telling me that before I paint my vinyl siding I should sand it a bit with 80 grit or so sand paper for proper paint adhesion. Now the siding is in okay condition... older and color has certainly faded quite a bit. I don't know why, but for whatever reason my gut is against sanding it.
