My husband and I are trying to find a name for our third girl. We have narrowed it down to two names. His favorite is Charlotte. Neither of us like the nickname Charlie. He does not like the nickname Lottie. So, she’d just be Charlotte. Do you think we would have a lot of trouble with people trying to nickname her Charlie? I know she’ll end up choosing a nickname herself (or not) at some point and that’s fine - that’s her choice! I’m thinking more about when she’s a baby. I already had someone react to the name by automatically saying “Baby Charlie is so cute!”…
