Hi, need some help please. I am looking to apply for a spouse visa on the 26th of May.

My partner and I have a civil partnership. To meet the financial requirement we shall be using their income and my savings. Their income is 27500 and my savings for the last 6 months is 27000.

Please correct me if I am wrong but they would take the lowest amount in those 6 months of my savings, the lowest in the last 6 months is 20004, so will it be 29000-27500=1500 x 2.5 + 16000=19750.

I will need an interim in bank statement as this will cover 14th May to 25th May and I’ll apply on the 26th of May.  

On the 17th of November 2025 my savings did dip below the 19750 but went back up on the 25th of November 2025.

Here is a checklist for all my documents.
