Is the N3DS worth it

I’ve recently bought the O3DS xl and used it modded for a few weeks. It is so good but I’ve run into limitations of N64 games running too slow and ps1 games doing the same. Is it worth selling it and buying a N3DS. Anyone with a N3DS let me know how it is.
