How "mandatory" is the sniper in an AoD KT?

I'm putting together an angel of death KT themed after the imperial fists (I love their lore and tactics, plus they're fairly easy to paint) so obviously I'm going heavy on the shooting with lots of bolter fire and sharpshooter/siege specialist tactics.

Now that we can take both the heavy bolter and the sniper, am I kinda forced to take both in order to be more competitive? I have nothing against the sniper per se, it's just that it's not something I would normally associate to the imperial fists. Is it that much better than a regular intercessor gunner?

Thanks in advance for the insight

Question about endgame gearing

When checking the loot table for hard mode bosses I noticed that only weapons are listed. No armor or trinkets.

Does this mean that any lvl 20 armor/jewel can potentially drop from any hard mode boss?

If so, is the best way to gear up just spamming the first dungeon over and over? It's the fastest and easiest.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

How do I get to this chest?

I've tried countless times but I still can't reach it. Obviously I've tried using the butterfly rope thingy but it doesn't push me high enough to reach that ledge.

I tried lowering myself as low as possible, then grab the butterfly and project myself up but it doesn't work. Is there perhaps another strategy that I'm missing? For the record this is in the kobold mines in the first island. Thanks!

How is this an MMO?

I mean, yea, it's multiplayer all right. You do see other players running around, but that's pretty much it.

Unless you're lucky to be playing with a friend or something, the chances of finding someone to group up with and face specific challenges together is pretty low.

This game is essentially a glorified arcade game with jumping puzzles. It's Mario but with different classes in a multiplayer world where everyone does their own thing.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad game. I totally see the appeal, especially combat wise. But yea, it's hardly an mmo and if you're the type of player who gets frustrated at jumping puzzles, then this game isn't for you.
